About Pedestrian Safety Enforcement

Pedestrian Safety Enforcement brought to you by Oregon Impact

Oregon Impact began in 1987 following approval by the Oregon Legislature of a law allowing judges to require individuals convicted for driving while intoxicated to attend a presentation by victims of crashes caused by offenders as a condition of probation or diversion.

Since then, our staff and dedicated volunteers have presented to thousands of Oregonians how a single bad decision can change a life. We have expanded our educational opportunities to cover pedestrian safety, speeding, and distracted driving.
